God Is With You!

There is no doubt that God is with you! God manifests His presence in your life through the Holy Spirit.

Prior to dying on the cross and rising again, Jesus said, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you (John 14:26). After He rose again, He said, “You will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now” (Acts 1:5). And that is exactly what happened!

After Jesus ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit came upon the believers and empowered them to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. Acts 2:1-3 says, “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.” When the Holy Spirit came upon the believers, they were empowered to speak God’s message of love and hope clearly and effectively.

"You have received a spirit of adoption as a child."

Romans 8:15

The Holy Spirit now comes upon all believers who place their faith in Christ (Acts 2:38). As a believer in Jesus, the Holy Spirit empowers you to effectively communicate the Gospel. He leads you to those with whom you are to share (Acts 8:29). And He empowers you to testify to Jesus (Acts 1:8).

The Holy Spirit sets you apart to be Christ-like and to fulfill the purposes He has for you (1 Corinthians 6:11, 2 Corinthians 3:18). The Holy Spirit empowers you to walk in victory (Galatians 5:16). He has gifted you for a ministry (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). And as you abide in Jesus, the Holy Spirit will produce greater love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in your life (Galatians 5:22).

When the Spirit came upon Jesus, He received the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). Now that you have the Holy Spirit, you have received the same from the Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit pours the love of God into your heart (Romans 5:5), gives you hope (Romans 15:13), and guides your prayers (Romans 8:26).

God is with you! You have the Holy Spirit. Walk in the Spirit and you will have all the love, joy, peace, hope, courage, victory, purpose, wisdom, counsel…you need to live the life God has for you.
