God's Word Personalized
I AM
I AM Gracious. I AM gracious and caring, slow to anger, full of loving-kindness. I AM good to all and My mercy is over everything I have made, especially you.
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. 9 The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Psalm 145:8-9
You Are
You are Forgiven. When you confess your sins, I forgive you, completely. And I completely remove anything that you have done wrong. Therefore, change your mind and heart so your sins may be eliminated, and you may be renewed. I Love You!
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
1 John 1:9; Acts 3:19
I Give
I give Forgiveness. I forgive all your sins for My glory. I will not remember anything you have done wrong.
25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
Isaiah 43:25
You Have
You have My Forgiveness. In Jesus you have been made new because of His sacrifice for you. He did this because of the blessing of His grace He extends to you.
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
Ephesians 1:7
Reflect. When was the last time you truly felt free and forgiven? I have heard it said that we will forever live with the consequences of our sin. While earthly consequences may linger, spiritual consequences never will. And God redeems earthly consequences. God tells us that He is completely loving and merciful and completely forgives us. We must look at any result of our sin as part of our story of God’s mercy, forgiveness, and redemption. He will turn our mess into His glory. He will redeem our story is for His glory.
Declare Truth and Give Thanks. I am forgiven! I am completely forgiven because, God, you are merciful and gracious. I am completely forgiven because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Thank you, Father, for your mercy and grace. Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for Jesus.
